Please excuse the poor title. I sketched this yesterday, it is not a very polished pencil drawing but those take me ages to finish. I have cleaned it up a bit and re-scanned it since I first submitted it this morning.

I just needed to get away from the computer so I thought I'd draw Saoirse in Hanna. I copied this picture from a screen shot where she is with her wolves just before she sees an airplane for the first time.

I'm not sure what it is about Saoirse that is so distinctive- I think it is the way her smile reaches those lovely eyes of hers. Apparently her eyebrows and eyelashes were bleached for the role which is why she looks so pale. Something about her reminds me of Bryce Dallas Howard.

Disclaimer: The movie Hanna belongs to Focus Features and all involved in making the film. Saoirse Ronan belongs to herself of course.

Thank you so much. This was fun to do. Actually, drawing this angelic face is always a pleasure.

I should do another picture of Georgie soon, she has very different features to Saoirse but there is also something very natural and wholesome about her.

He gave her a great acting talent too. I can't say I'm not also a bit envious of her but I try channeling it into something constructive like appreciating her in art (I'm not really one for self-portraits).

She must stay as sweet as she is, I pray she won't be corrupted by Hollywood :pray:.
